San Andreas, CA — In an item just released this morning, 28 year old Christian Thompson of West Point was arrested and booked into the Calaveras County Jail on a charge of driving-under-the-influence Saturday morning minutes after two o’clock.
According to the CHP report Thompson was driving eastbound on Main St. at Bouvard St. in West Point when due to his level of intoxication he allowed his 2000 Ford Ranger to leave the roadway and strike a fence and numerous fence posts.
Thompson only sustained a minor injury.
