Update: Motorcycle Crash On HWY 26

Update at 12:30 p.m.: The CHP reports that one person has been flown from the scene to a Modesto Hospital suffering serious injuries. It is unclear exactly what caused the Kawasaki motorcycle to crash. The roadway has been cleared and traffic is moving freely once again.

Oringinal post at 11:55 a.m.: Glencoe, CA — First responders are on the scene of a motorcycle crash on Highway 26 just west of the Deardorff Road intersection in the Glencoe area of Calaveras County.

The wreckage is in the westbound lane of the roadway and officers are directing traffic. An air ambulance has been called to the scene. We will update you with more details as soon as they come into the newsroom.
