Vote On Trinitas Delayed Two Weeks

Sonora, CA — It will be at least a couple of weeks before there is decision on the Trinitas Golf Resort project in Wallace.

The Calaveras County Supervisors voted 5-0 to delay a decision until April 28th. A public hearing Tuesday lasted approximately six hours at the San Andreas Town Hall.

“They had questions about water usage and the economic impact,” says Interim Community Development Director Brent Harrington. “And I think they just needed a little time to digest all the information and comments received.”

Mike and Michelle Nemee are the developers. They would like to add a club house/pro shop, a 30 unit lodging facility, 14 lots for residential housing and gain permits for public events, i.e., golf tournaments.
