Copperopolis, CA — 63 year old William Paine of Copperopolis suffered minor injuries Thursday minutes before 6pm when his 2000 GMC pickup left Copper Cove Drive.
According to the CHP report Paine was exiting a downhill left hand curve at approximately 40-45 mph when he accelerated and subsequently lost control of his vehicle.
His truck eventually overturned causing major damage to the vehicle. Paine was taken by ambulance to Sonora Regional Medical Center for treatment.
