Soulsbyville Family Loses Home In Fire

Soulsbyville, CA — A family of four has been displaced following a Friday evening fire at 20145 Chipmunk Rd. in the Soulsbyville area.

CAL Fire Communications Operator Ed Allendorf says the fire started around 10 o’clock and was contained shortly after midnight.

$375,000 in damage was done to structure and an additional $75,000 to the home’s contents. No one was injured, and the family is being assisted by the Red Cross. The home is owned by Don and Michelle Hicks.

There is still no word as to what caused the fire.
