More Storms Headed For The Mother Lode

Sacramento, CA — While one winter storm is departing the Mother Lode today still another will be arriving this evening and carry over into much of Friday.

The National Weather Service reports 12-18 inches of snow is expected in the higher elevations with snowfall lowering to the 2,000 foot level Friday.

A much stronger storm will bring twice as much snow to the Sierra Nevada Saturday evening and Sunday and that storm will include wind gusts in excess of 50-60 mph.
