Prudential California Realty To Close Angels Camp Office

Sonora, CA — At the end of the week Prudential California Reality will close its Angels Camp office at the Frog Jump Plaza at the intersection of Highways 4 and 49.

Owner-Broker Scot Patterson commented, "We’ve decided that the economic downturn in the real estate market we’re in is what has necessitated the consolidation of one of our offices. We’re still in Calaveras County in Arnold and we’re going to serve the marketplace from there."

The Angels Camp office only housed three agents. Two of those agents will be transfering to other offices.

Patterson stated that the Angels Camp office "wasn’t performing in any way, shape or form close to profitability. It was a business decision. We’re actually sad to be out of that market. We like Angels Camp and we like that community but it was time to make a tough business decision."

Patterson added that the company’s other four offices (Sonora, East Sonora, Twain Harte and Arnold) will remain open and are doing well despite the downturn.
