Sonora, CA — The National Weather Service is monitoring a cold pressure system that could cause treacherous driving conditions in the high country through the weekend.
Officials are encouraging travelers to carry chains at all times when traveling through the mountains.
Light to moderate precipition is expected to continue over the next few days with snow levels dipping down to around 2,500 ft. by Sunday.
