Man Arrested At Casino

Tuolumne, CA– A man from Mi Wuk Village was arrested at Black Oak Casino this morning on drug charges.


According to the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office, security personnel at the casino contacted authorities after viewing a security tape that showed a glass pipe falling from a man’s pocket onto the gaming floor.


The man was identified as 27-year-old Justin Halstead. Halstead was contacted by Sgt. Neil Evans at the casino and escorted out of the building. Halstead was reportedly under the influence of drugs and the pipe tested positive for methamphetamine.


Halstead was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
