Weather Causes Power Outages

Sonora, CA — There are some power outages reported across the Mother Lode. In Tuolumne County, PG&E reports that less than 500 customers are without electricity and in Calaveras County there are between 500-5000 without power. The most widespread outage is in the area of Mountain Ranch. PG&E does not have an estimated time of restoration for the outages. To receive information on a specific outage call 1-800-PGE-5000.

The rain has also caused street flooding in areas. Roadway flooding or rocks in the road have been reported on Phoenix Lake Road near Silver Dawn Drive, Cabezut Road at Greenley Road, and Yankee Hill Road at Columbia Vista. Rocks were reported in the roadway earlier today on Tuolumne Road, but they have now been removed.

Travel with caution throughout the region.
