Lungren Appointed To Committee

Washington, DC — Congressman Dan Lungren has been named Chairman of the Committee on House Administration for the 112th Congress.

Lungren is among the selected few who make up 20 committees in the 435 member House. He is also the only Representative in Northern California with this title.

“It has been a privilege to serve as Ranking Member alongside Mr. Brady and I am honored to serve all Americans as Chairman of the Committee on House Administration,” said Lungren. “The Committee will also do its part in finding ways to reduce spending in Washington D.C. and bring a more efficient, responsible government back to the people.”

Lungren also serves on the Homeland Security and Judiciary committees. He will assume his role as Chariman of the Committee on House Administration when the 112th Congress convenes in January.
