Hathaway Pines Children Injured

Hathaway Pines, CA – The CHP reports that two young children were injured in a vehicle accident on Highway 4 yesterday.


32-year-old Travis Lauterbach lost control of his Chevy Trailblazer after hitting a patch of ice on Highway 4 east of Darby Russell Road. His vehicle ran off the road and collided with a tree. Lauterbach was not injured, but two children in the vehicle were transported to UC Davis by life-flight for moderate injuries. The children were two and five years old. The accident was reported at 9:13pm.
