PG&E Hopes To Make Significant Progress

Sonora, CA – PG&E reports that most all of the remaining power outages in the Mother Lode should be restored by late this evening.

7,235 customers are without power in Tuolumne County and around 4,000 are without power in Calaveras County. There are 3,560 customers out in the Arnold area, 3,100 around Twain Harte, 1,740 in East Sonora, 1,660 in Mi Wuk Village, 675 in Long Barn and 60 in West Point.

Whether some outages will linger into Thursday depends on what conditions PG&E crews find when restoring outages today. Crews from outside the area have been called to assist.
