Winter Storm Warning For Sierra

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Sierra Nevada through 6pm Tuesday.


The snow level will generally remain around 3000 feet.


Ten inches to a foot of snow is possible at 4000 feet. Up to two feet of snow is likely at the higher elevations.


Winds of thirty to forty-five mph are expected over the higher mountain ridges with some gusts reaching fifty to eighty mph.
