Angels Camp Budget Deficit Is $267K

Angels, CA — The Angels Camp City Council will take steps to close a budget deficit for fiscal year 2010/11.

The issue will be the topic of a budget hearing scheduled for Tuesday evening’s City Council meeting. City Finance Director Melissa Ralston says the deficit is currently $267K.
The Council will discuss whether to replace an open full time position on the Police Department with reserve officers. The City will also look to save money by continuing to reduce fire staffing on weekends.

The meeting will begin at 6pm Tuesday at the Angels Camp Fire House.
