School Bond Measures Close Gap

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Elections Office still has 524 provisional ballots to count from Tuesday’s election, and the two school bond measures are closing the gap.


After the final vote by mail ballots were counted Thursday, Measure H for Sonora Elementary School had 54.77 percent approval and Measure G for Summerville Union High School had 54.04 percent in favor. Both measures require 55 percent approval in order to pass.
