Voter Registration On The Rise

Sacramento, CA– Voter registration has increased in California with both parties seeing a boost over the past five months.

According to the Secretary of State’s office, nearly 17.3 million Californians are registered to vote in Tuesday’s election, slightly less than the number registered for the 2008 presidential election.

The number of voters refusing to state a party preference is at an all-time high of 3.5 million.
