Jenny Lind, CA– Firefighters were busy battling two fires this afternoon in the Mother Lode.
According to Cal Fire, just after 4:00 pm, a one acre vegetation fire was reported on O’Reilly Street and Jenny Lind Road, in the community of Jenny Lind.
Approximately a half hour later, just shortly after 4:30 pm, fire crews also fought a ¾ acre vegetation fire on Stallion Way off of Highway 4 between Copperopolis and Angels Camp. Both fires have been contained and no structures were damaged.
