Update: Structure Fire In Tuolumne

Update at 1:30 p.m.: CAL Fire spokesperson Emily Kilgore tells Clarke Broadcasting that when fire crews arrive at the home in the 2100 block of Zarzamora Street near Soledad Way, off Highway 120 in the Lake Don Pedro area there was no smoke showing. A quick look around and crews determined there was no fire. Kilgore confirms it was a false alarm.

Original post at 1:05 p.m.: Tuolumne County, CA — If you heard the Columbia aircraft over head, they and ground crews are heading to a report of a structure fire in between the Lake Don Pedro and Lake McClure area of Tuolumne County.

CAL Fire reports it is in the 2100 block of Zarzamora Street near Soledad Way, off Highway 120. There is no word as to where the fire ignited or whether the flames have spread to any nearby vegetation at this time. We will update you as soon as new information comes into the newsroom.
