Fire Extinguished Near Standard Mill

Standard, CA — A small vegetation fire started when a power line failed on Sierra Pacific Industries property in Standard.

CAL Fire reports that the incident was first reported at 5:15pm Monday in the 14800 block of Camage Road. No structured were affected and the estimated damage was $50. A CAL Fire engine from Standard and a baseline crew responded, as did a Tuolumne County Fire Department engine from Jamestown. The incident was closed at 8:11pm.
