Highway 4 Injury Accident

Bear Valley, CA — A Nevada man was injured in a vehicle accident on Highway 4 near Lake Alpine.


The CHP reports that 80-year-old Norman Prunier of Minden drove off the highway Sunday afternoon and collided with a boulder. Prunier was approaching a 15 mph left hand turn. He was transported to a hospital in Reno because of pain to his ribs. Prunier’s only passenger, 75-year-old Barbara Prunier, was not injured. The accident was reported at 1pm.
