Valley Springs, CA — The CHP reports that a Valley Springs man was transported to a hospital for injuries sustained in a vehicle accident in Calaveras County.
66-year-old Robert Kane was driving on Berkesey Lane near Farris Drive when he drifted off the roadway and collided with a brick column at the entrance to a private driveway. The 1956 Dodge truck continued and collided with a small wooden fence and eventually into an olive tree. Kane was taken to Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital to treat minor injuries. The accident occurred at 1pm on Wednesday.
