Calaveras Supervisors Revisit Budget

San Andreas, CA — Calaveras County leaders passed an updated budget this week.

Overall spending for fiscal year 2010-11 (which started on July 1st) will be just over $150 million. The budget is still subject to change, depending on actions at the state level. A total of $725,797 has been placed in a reserve contingency fund to offset unforeseen costs coming out of the General Fund. The Supervisors vote this week to update the budget was unanimous.

In June, the Supervisors passed a preliminary budget calling for $144 million in spending.
