Riverbank Teens Arrested For Drugs

Sonora, CA – The Sonora Police Department arrested two teens from Riverbank following a traffic stop.

18-year-old Silvestre Lizarraga was driving on Snell Street and was reportedly speeding and crossing over double yellow lines. An officer pulled over his vehicle and found four ounces of uncut crystal methamphetamine inside, with a street value of $7,000 – $8,000. Lizarraga and his only passenger, 18-year-old Gerardo Ballardo, were charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and felony transportation of a controlled substance.
