Chinese Camp, CA– Firefighters contained a 30 acre grass fire on Highway 120 off of Shawmut Road near Chinese Camp today. According to Cal Fire, hand crews will be on site tonight and tomorrow for mop up. The fire started just before 4 pm.
Multiple Cal Fire resources had responded including air attack from Columbia. No structures were damaged and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
