CHP At Work To Reduce DUI’s

San Andreas, CA– The CHP office in San Andreas conducted a Sobriety/Driver License Checkpoint Friday night in Murphy’s.


According to the CHP, out of 931 vehicles checked, 10 sobriety tests were given and two DUI arrests were made. Staffed by CHP officers trained in the detection of alcohol and drug impaired drivers, the purpose of the checkpoint is to detect and deter DUI and unlicensed drivers.
