Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

Sonora, CA–  The Angels Camp Police Department and the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office are working in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration by participating in the first ever Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. The DEA will be collecting potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs for disposal at sites nationwide this Saturday, September 25th.


The Angels Camp Police Department will be accepting unwanted prescription drugs with no questions asked between the hours of 10 am and 2 pm at the Police Department located at 200 Monte Verde Street in Angels Camp. The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office will accept unwanted prescription drugs at the Junction Shopping Center from 10 am to 2 pm.
