Mi Wuk Fire Contained

Mi Wuk Village, CA — Firefighters have contained a vegetation fire burning in Mi Wuk Village.

CAL Fire’s Lisa Williams says it burned 3.3 acres. The nearest home is about a mile from the site, so there was not a need for officials to call for evacuations. The fire was in the area of Muheli Road near the bottom of the river drainage. It had been burning in an easterly direction. The cause is under investigation.
