Arrest Following Rollover Accident

Sonora, CA — A Sonora man was arrested following a rollover accident yesterday.


The CHP reports that 25-year-old Johnathan Johnson was driving on Highway 49 when he lost control of his Mitsubishi truck near Jackass Hill Road. The pickup hit a barbed wire fence and overturned on its side in an open pasture. After the crash, Johnson fled the area on foot. When Johnson returned, he was arrested for DUI, hit and run and driving while unlicensed. The accident occurred at 7:40pm.
