Service For Fallen Columbia Based CAL Fire Captain

Sonora, CA – A Celebration of Life is scheduled for next week in memory of CAL Fire Captain Stacy Hamilton who was stationed with the CAL Fire Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit at the Columbia Air Attack Base.

49-year-old Fire Captain Hamilton from the Shaver Lake area of Fresno County was killed in a solo-rollover crash on Snelling Road north of Merced early in the morning on Saturday, June 8th, as reported here. He was an Air Tactical Group Supervisor (ATGS) at the base.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Fire Capt. Hamilton is being held on Monday, June 17th at Clovis Hills Community Church located at 10590 North Willow Avenue in Clovis. It will begin at 11 a.m. The family has asked that flowers for the service be ordered from:
