Coulterville Fire Caused By Mower

Coulterville, CA — A 38 acre fire in the community of Coulterville is now 90 percent contained.

The fire along Converse Road started yesterday morning, and was caused by somebody mowing grass. 150 firefighters were dispatched throughout the day, including resources from the Tuolumne-Calaveras region. Two engines and one hand crew are assigned today to patrol and continue mop-up.
