Coulterville, CA– Excellent progress is being made on the Converse Fire at Converse Road and Greeley Hill in Coulterville.
Cal Fire resources including units from Calaveras and Tuolumne counties are battling this vegetation fire that is now 70% contained. Crews will be on hand throughout the night and into tomorrow.
Initial reports indicated that the fire had burned 75 acres but that number has now changed to 38 acres. No structures are currently threatened.
