Trails Near Harden Lake Reopen

Yosemite, CA — The Harden Lake area trails in Yosemite National Park have been reopened.

The Harden Lake area was previously closed due to fire activity. The fire known as the Slope Fire was caused by lightening and spotted on July 25th. Total acreage gained overnight was three acres, bringing the total acres burned to 600. Yosemite National Park Fire Crews will continue to monitor the fire for ecological benefits.

Hikers are urged to stay on trails in the Harden Lake area.
