Mokelumne Hill, CA– There was a two vehicle injury accident near Mokelumne Hill yesterday afternoon.
64 year old Patricia Cook of Jackson was traveling northbound on Highway 49 just north of Mokelumne Hill when she pulled over onto the shoulder to make a u-turn. 61 year old Margie Larson of Porterville was also traveling northbound on Highway 49 when Cook made the u-turn in front of her. Larson hit her brakes but was not able to avoid a collision with Cook.
Both women suffered minor injuries and were transported to local hospitals.
