Hazardous Waste Disposal Limits

San Andreas, CA — Calaveras County Department of Public Works, Integrated Waste Management reminds residents that the State of California limits the transport of hazardous waste to a maximum of 125 pounds of solid materials or 15 gallons of liquids.

The Rock Creek Solid Waste facility will only accept materials up to these limits. Common hazardous wastes include yard pesticides and fertilizers, cleaners, batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, anti-freeze, used motor oil and paint.
