San Andreas, CA –The CHP is preparing for a busy Fourth of July weekend.
San Andreas CHP Officer Rebecca Myers recommends that motorists plan ahead if traveling, allow plenty of time to avoid speeding and to not drink and drive.
All available CHP officers will be patrolling the area looking for motorists who could be in danger to themselves or others on California highways.
It’s a CHP Maximum Enforcement Period from Friday through Monday.
