Plane Makes Emergency Landing Near Jamestown

An airplane made an emergency land onto a field near Jamestown on Sunday morning.

The incident was first reported around 10am on Sunday. CAL Fire and other emergency officals responded to the scene.

The unidentified pilot was reportedly uninjured, however there is an unspecified amount of minor damage to the P-51 replica.

The field is located on Fraguero Road, located off of Highway 49, in near proximity to the Columbia airport. The plane will remain on the field today, with a planned removal scheduled for Monday.
