Voters Filling Out Absentee Ballots

Sonora, CA — Absentee ballots are starting to arrive at the Tuolumne County Elections Office.

County Clerk and Auditor-Controller Debi Russell says 20,300 voters requested absentee ballots, which equates to 64 percent of the total electorate.

4,400 ballots have been returned, which is approximately 22 percent of the absentee count.

They must be returned by Election Day, June 8th.
