California Voters Divided Over Marijuana

Sacramento, CA – A poll by the non-partisan Public Policy Institute of California finds that voters are nearly split on the issue of legalizing marijuana.

49 percent of likely voters say they support legalizing marijuana for recreational use, while 48 percent are in opposition.

The poll also finds that men are more likely to favor legalization than females.

The issue will go before California voters in November.
