Peaceful Oak Estates Moves Forward

Sonora, CA – Some new homes are set to be built in Standard.

The Peaceful Oak Estates Subdivision was approved by the Tuolumne County Supervisors with a 4-0 vote Tuesday afternoon.

The plan calls for 306 homes to be built over 600 acres of land owned by Sierra Pacific Industries.

The Supervisors voted to name one of the streets in the subdivision after Charles Myers, a former owner of the property.

Around 50 acres will be donated to the county for recreational purposes across from Standard Park.
