Sacramento, CA — Revised statewide unemployment statistics show that Calaveras County’s rate increased to 17 percent in January, while Tuolumne County was up to 15.1 percent.
Mono County had the lowest unemployment rate at 8.1 percent and Colusa County was the highest at 27.4 percent.
The State of California was at 13.2 percent in January.
