Applicants Sought For Day’s Seat

Sonora, CA — Anyone interested in filling the open seat on the Tuolumne Utilities District Board of Directors must submit an application by tomorrow.

Joe Day announced his resignation from the Board last month because he has moved to the Central Valley. Candidates should fill out an application at the District office on Nugget Boulevard in Sonora. Applications are due by 4pm on Wednesday.

Applicants must be a registered voter and residing within District boundaries. A special T.U.D. board meeting will be held on January 4, beginning at 5pm, to interview applicants. The term of office runs through next December.
