T.U.D. Delays Vote On GM Extension

Sonora, CA — While rate hikes dominated talks among the T.U.D. Board of Directors this week, there was also a special meeting to discuss whether to extend the contract of the General Manager.

The T.U.D. Board met Tuesday in closed session to discuss a possible extension with Pete Kampa through 2016. Kampa is currently under contract through December 4, 2012, according to documents from the meeting. The Board came out of closed session and decided to “table” a vote on the extension until a later time. There was no further discussion by the Board members.

Kampa’s contract this year pays a salary of $154,086.
