$26,223 Raised For Interfaith

Sonora, CA – The Mother Lode community pledged $26,223 during Clarke Broadcasting’s Santa Fly-In Interfaith Cash Drive.

The community graciously made pledges over the past two days during the Star 92.7 and 93.5 KKBN morning shows. Last year around $22,000 was raised, and this year’s goal was to exceed $25,000.

“I can’t thank the community enough for doing this,” says Cathie Peacock, Interfaith Director. “Boy, the community came through to help people, and this is a real signature of Tuolumne County.”

Activities move to Standard Park on Saturday for the Santa Fly-In Food and Coat Drive. Everyone is encouraged bring non-perishable food items and/or new or gently used coats from 9am-1pm. Cars can drive through and volunteers will be on hand to do the unloading. Santa Claus will be arriving via helicopter at noon thanks to Tuolumne County Ambulance and PHI Air Medical.

100% of all donations (coats, food, and cash) go to Interfaith Social Services to help Tuolumne County families in need.
