Power Outages Close Schools

Sonora, CA — PG&E reports that there are still 13,425 customers without power in Tuolumne County and 4,750 in Calaveras County.

Numerous schools have been forced to cancel classes today. The list is being updated constantly this morning, so click here for the latest.

At one point yesterday, Tuolumne County alone had over 20,000 customers without electricity. PG&E does not have an estimated time of restoration, but says extra crews have been called in and they will work throughout the day.
