Sonora Christmas Parade

Sonora, CA — Downtown Sonora was filled with the sights and sounds of Christmas Friday night.

The 28th annual downtown Sonora Christmas drew thousands of onlookers. Organizers report that there were over 70 entries this year. The parade route started at the Red Church and went down Washington Street. New this year, vehicles were not allowed to park in downtown after 2pm. “Holiday Trolleys” picked up many of the parade goers and dropped them off at designated stops throughout the community.
