Theft At Groveland School

Groveland, CA– Tuolumne County authorities are investigating a theft at Tenaya Elementary School in Groveland.


The Sheriff’s Office reports that sometime between 8:00 pm Thursday and 5:30 am Friday, a suspect or suspects cut the hoses on two school vans and stole 30 gallons worth of fuel. Around $300-$400 worth of damage was caused to the vehicles.


School officials are currently in the process of studying video surveillance to identify possible suspects.
