Waste Management Introduces Weather Hotline

Sonora, CA– With winter storms right around the corner, Waste Management in Tuolumne County is gearing up for a busy season.

Because inclement weather can affect local roadways, and sometimes times hinder waste collection,  Waste Management has developed a toll free weather hotline. The number is for customers in the Tuolumne County area to call and check on the status of their waste collection.

The 24-hour Waste Management Weather Hotline is (888) 558-0616.

“We do everything we can to ensure service as scheduled, while maintaining our safety procedures,” said Tom Teach, District Manager for Waste Management’s Cal-Sierra Disposal. “If we are unable to service our customers as scheduled, we make sure to offer additional disposal solutions, and to provide collection service within a reasonable amount of time so there is little to no impact on the customer.”
