According to the National Weather Service, the next cold storm will move through this area from Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Less than one tenth of a inch of rain is expected in the Motherlode.
In the Sierra Nevada, snow levels will be around 4000 feet. Four to seven inches of snow accumulation may fall above 6000 feet. Winds may gust up to seventy mph over the Sierra crest.
