Man Assaulted In Twain Harte

Sonora, CA– Authorities in Tuolumne County are asking the public’s help in solving a recent crime in Twain Harte.

The Sheriff’s Office reports that during the evening hours of Sunday, October 30th, the victim, David Mussenden was near the creek behind Eprosen Park in Twain Harte.

He was reportedly approached by two unknown males. One of the suspects confronted Mussenden, punched him, and then hit him on the head with a hard object. Mussenden then went to the Twain Harte 7-11 store and asked a clerk to call an ambulance.


He sustained serious injuries, according to Sgt. Jeff Wilson.
